These themes centred on the impact of the arts and creativity on:

  • our health and wellbeing;
  • economic value and Australia’s future success;
  • social cohesion; as well as
  • the need for equal access to arts and creativity.

As the cornerstone of our evidence base, the Creating Our Future: Results of the National Arts Participation Survey provides vital new evidence about the essential role that arts and creativity play in Australian communities, showing the arts are a public good infused and embedded in the fabric of our daily lives.

This webinar series is a deep dive into the main themes of the report, exploring how Australians’ increasingly value the benefits of the arts and creativity, the importance of arts and creativity in child development and education, and the power of the arts to fuel our talent pipeline and jobs growth, building our social cohesion and wellbeing and our growing recognition of the central importance of First Nations arts to Australia’s culture.
