Previously, she worked at CIRCA and n 2012, Penny joined the Australia Council of the Arts to manage the national touring program Playing Australia and has most recently held the position of Manager Cultural Engagement, Arts Strategy. Penny was the General Manager of Arts of Tour NSW for 11 years.

About This Episode
How do we lead people through change that is happening right now, but also prepare them for the medium and long-term impact?
Understanding how people react to change, what do people need from leaders at the beginning, middle and towards the end – understanding the continuum of change.
What is best for the people we manage, and how do we respond to those, while also operating on many levels? What are the tactics and tools to manage these multiple layers of change?
The session will be hosted by Penny Miles, Executive Director from Circuz Oz.
About The Series
Creative Connections is an online webinar series for the cultural and arts sectors and will offer practical, accessible and useful content delivered by industry experts on key topics and emerging themes.
The series is focused around the theme of adaptation, and sessions will explore digital adaptation, leadership adaptation and arts practice adaptation. Sessions will be facilitated by experts in specific topic areas, with over thirty sessions available.

Penny Miles
Penny is the Executive Director at Circus Oz. Previously, she worked at CIRCA and n 2012, Penny joined the Australia Council of the Arts to manage the national touring program Playing Australia and has most recently held the position of Manager Cultural Engagement, Arts Strategy.
Penny was the General Manager of Arts of Tour NSW for 11 years. She has been recognised with the APACA Touring Legend Award and she has been involved on numerous Boards and Committees including Regional Arts NSW, Arts NSW, Live Performance Australia and Performing Arts Touring Alliance.
