Brad Holder
PCC Productions is the brain child of Brad Holder, musician, theatre manager and audio visual technician. Brad was born and raised in Port Hedland where he started playing in bands from an early age. Brad soon discovered that there wasn’t much support for Pilbara musicians, and throughout his teens he started to work in the audio visual industry through the local theatre, where he developed a passion for connecting performers to the audience through the art of live sound.
Through his work with touring artists, Brad soon discovered there was a significant road block stopping the flow of touring artists through to the Pilbara from Perth resulting in the lack of local music support, this was the lack of quality audio visual hire equipment in the region. Touring bands did not have the budget to bring equipment with them, so they simply bypassed the Pilbara, often jumping from Geraldton to Broome on their tour schedules. This meant a strong disconnect between the Perth and Pilbara music scenes. Brad then personally devoted the next fifteen years to building an equipment inventory capable of sustaining and supporting well known touring artists, studying his craft, training people around him and putting the community first to ensure the next generation could #SupportHedlandMusic.
Brad is a strong advocate for WA Music and is the Pilbara representative on the West Australian Music (WAM) Regional Roundtable, as well as a board member of CircuitWest, WA’s peak body for regional performing arts touring. Today Brad and his team have worked with some of the country’s biggest touring artists and service the whole Pilbara region with their award winning service.
