Applications are now open for a range of opportunities, offered through our partnership with Perpetual as trustee.
Dal Stivens Award
The Dal Stivens Award is presented biennially to an author, aged 30 or under, for a short story or essay of the highest literary merit.
You may submit up to two entries.
The recipient will receive $15,000.
Applications close Tuesday 7 February, 2023.
Kathleen Mitchell Award
The Kathleen Mitchell Award is presented biennially to the author, aged 30 or under, of an outstanding novel or novella to encourage advancement in their literary career.
The recipient will receive $15,000.

The Marten Bequest Scholarships
Offering talented young artists the chance to explore, study and develop their artistic gifts through travelling either interstate and/or overseas. The scholarships provide financial support of $50,000 under the categories of acting, architecture, ballet, instrumental music, painting, poetry, prose, sculpture and singing.
