Emma McLean is an emerging curator and arts writer currently working as Assistant Curator at Museum of Brisbane. Emma previously held the position of Kinnane Endowment Curatorial Intern at The University of Queensland Art Museum where she co-curated the exhibitions Judy Watson: concealed histories in 2018, and Workshop in 2019. She has volunteered across the Brisbane art industry, including roles at Queensland Art Gallery | Gallery of Modern Art and Flying Arts Queensland. She has achieved publication with The Journal of Australian Ceramics and Art + Australia Online. Emma was one of the selected participants in the 2019 Venice Biennale Emerging Arts Professionals Program.
