Dedicated to creating exhibition and event spaces that promote innovative thought and push creativity into new realms, Lara holds a particular interest in design, architecture, and photography.

Previous to her current position as Curator at SAM; Shepparton Art Museum (VIC), she worked as Assistant Curator at JamFactory: Art, Craft + Design (SA). From 2012-2013, was Manager and Curatorial Board member at SAVVY Contemporary, Berlin. Lara has experience collaborating with arts festivals, exhibitions and projects around Australia and internationally, has completed curatorial residencies in Peru, Argentina and Colombia and speaks fluent Spanish.

She holds a Bachelor of Visual Arts (Hons.) specialising in Photography from the University of South Australia (2008), and is currently completing a Masters in Art History from the University of Adelaide.
