A master of making theatre work for the good of whole communities, Geoff worked at various times as Artistic Director for Mainstream Theatre and Junction Theatre, which specialised in workplace and community theatre.
Geoff co-founded the Lampshade Shop Theatre and Not So Straight Theatre and freelanced with many South Australian theatre companies throughout his career.
Through working with leading writers, performers, designers and theatre practitioners, Geoff became an important point of contact and support for the industry. He took a strong interest in South Australia’s many cultural events and was a Board Member and Co-ordinator for the Feast Festival.
Behind the scenes, Geoff was a member of peer assessment panels for funding grants from Arts SA and the Australia Council for the Arts. He championed Australian writers for the theatre, commissioning and directing countless new works. Geoff’s productions have been a part of WOMAD, the Adelaide Festival Centre, Melbourne International Arts Festival, Adelaide Cabaret Festival, Adelaide Fringe Festival and Feast Festival.
