Applications for the commissioning of new dance films through ABC Dance 4 Film are now open.
ABC Dance 4 Film is a major new broadcast partnership between the Australia Council for the Arts, ABC Television, Channel 4 and the Arts Council England for the screening of dance films on the ABC and Channel 4 in the UK.
The expanded collaboration provides the opportunity to commission new British and Australian dance films as well as purchasing existing dance films as part of the broadcast
Proposals for new commissions should be submitted by 30 April 2007 and proposals for acquisition should be submitted up to 3 September.
The announcement of successful commissions will be announced in May 2007.
