Laura McLeod’s extensive career in the visual arts has included working with a range of arts organisations, project co-ordination and research for conferences and visual arts publications. Laura has considerable experience working at the Australia Council building and managing relationships with visual arts organisations, artists, international residencies and international projects. She consulted widely with the visual arts sector throughout her time at Council and delivered key initiatives, such as the Visual Arts and Craft Strategy. Laura has previously held roles at the Australian Centre for Photography, Australian Bicentennial Authority, and was Director, Lake Macquarie City Art Gallery.Laura’s undergraduate honours studies were in fine arts at the Power Institute, University of Sydney, followed later by the Asialink Leaders Program, University of Melbourne.
