Making a Grant Application

Grant applications are submitted through our online Application Management System (AMS).

If you are using the system for the first time you will need to register to access the grant application.

We do not accept applications submitted by email or post. Any material received by email or post will not be assessed and will be returned to the sender.

If you think you will have difficulty submitting your application online, read this FAQ guide to using the system and/or please contact the Artists Services team.

Registering for the first time

Go to the login page to create an account.

If your registration is approved, you will receive an Australia Council email containing your login information. This will give you access to our AMS.

Make sure you register well before the closing date. It can take up to two business days to process your registration.

Contact Artists Services if you are unsure if you should register as an individual or on behalf of an organisation.

Now that you have registered and received your login details you can start, edit, save and submit an application as an individual, on behalf of a group, or on behalf of an organisation.
