Identify the right grant
To help you identify the right grant, speak to an Artists Services officer about your project or arts practice and we can help you identity grants and opportunities that you are eligible to apply for.
You can also see our filterable list of grants and opportunities, which allows you to check which grants are currently open or opening soon. Once you have identified a grant, carefully check the eligibility criteria to ensure you are eligible.
Check the guidelines for individual grants and opportunities to see whether there are limits on the number of applications you can submit for each grant round.
If you have any questions or would like assistance, please contact Artists Services.

Register in our application management system
Applications are submitted through our online application management system.
Make sure you register well before the closing date, as it can take up to two business days to process your registration.
If you have already registered in our system, please do not reregister.
For help registering, accessing or using our application management system, please contact Artists Services.

Collect support material
To complete your application, you will usually need to collect support material. Support material is material that you provide as attachments or links to your application to allow assessors to review your creative work as part of our assessment process. It can include images, written material (such as excerpts of literary writing, letters of support, biographies and CVs) and links to video and/or audio recordings.
For more information, including tips on what to include, please see our advice on support material, and the requirements specified in the individual guidelines.

Complete your application
Most grants and opportunities are open for at least 6 weeks before the closing date, so you can review the application form in our application management system and see which information you need to provide.
You should allow at least a few days to complete your application. Your application can also be saved in our application management system, so you can return to complete it.
See our grant writing tips and applications FAQ or contact Artists Services if you have any questions or would like assistance with your application.
