Explore art that blurs boundaries

Multi-art form works offer unique opportunities to connect with audiences and tell diverse stories. These works can take many forms, for example, a festival that incorporates music, literature and theatre or a project that cuts across multiple separate art form-specific activities. At Creative Australia we support artists, creative workers and arts organisations that blur the boundaries of art forms or demonstrate proficiency in multiple art forms.

Multi-art form works might include dance, music, theatre, visual arts, experimental practice, screen and digital work, literature, and community arts and cultural development. Applicants may be practising artists, producers, curators, programmers, tour managers, festival directors, arts managers or leaders.

We acknowledge the many Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia and honour their Elders past and present.

We respect their deep enduring connection to their lands, waterways and surrounding clan groups since time immemorial. We cherish the richness of First Nations Peoples’ artistic and cultural expressions.

We are privileged to gather on this Country and through this website to share knowledge, culture and art now, and with future generations.

First Nations Peoples should be aware that this website may contain images or names of people who have died.
