Explore Australia’s creative canvas

The visual art, craft and design sectors offer dynamic platforms for Australian artists and creative workers to explore new ideas, tell unique stories and engage with audiences both locally and globally. At Creative Australia, we champion innovation, expression and diversity within visual art, craft and design, recognising their power to reflect, challenge and celebrate societal narratives.

Applicants to the visual arts panel cover a wide range of genres and experience from curating, art writing, installation, jewellery, ceramics, weaving, painting and sculpture to video art.

We acknowledge the many Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia and honour their Elders past and present.

We respect their deep enduring connection to their lands, waterways and surrounding clan groups since time immemorial. We cherish the richness of First Nations Peoples’ artistic and cultural expressions.

We are privileged to gather on this Country and through this website to share knowledge, culture and art now, and with future generations.

First Nations Peoples should be aware that this website may contain images or names of people who have died.
