Music Australia programs
Funding programs which are directly managed by the Music Australia team.
- Export Development Fund: Music Australia's flagship matched funding program offering targeted support for three specific areas of export: International Performance & Touring Activity, International Professional & Artistic Development, and International Market & Audience Development.
- Record Label grants: supports Australian labels that are actively discovering, developing, and promoting local talent. The Record Label Development Scheme supports holistic development for labels that have been operating for a minimum of three years. The Marketing & Manufacturing Grants are aimed at smaller labels for marketing, promotion, manufacturing and distribution costs.
- National Songwriting and Recording in Schools Stimulus: supports high-quality, inclusive contemporary songwriting and recording programs for primary, secondary and tertiary students in schools, TAFEs, universities and other music academies across Australia: National Songwriting and Recording in Schools Stimulus | Creative Australia
- Core Contribution Fund: supports eligible organisations whose primary activity is providing services to key areas of the contemporary Australian music industry: Music Australia Core Contribution Fund | Creative Australia.
- Delivery Partners: organisations that receive multi-year investment from Music Australia to provide services for artists, industry professionals and organisations. Each of our delivery partners focuses on distinct areas of need within the music industry, and currently include The Push, Association of Artist Managers, Australian Independent Record Labels Association, Sounds Australia and Green Music Australia.

Funding programs that Music Australia invest in which are directly managed by other organisations.
- Music Australia International Conference Contribution (MAICC): an export program aimed at strengthening global networks, growing market knowledge, and building capacity for five key areas of Australian music industry professionals, including Managers, Publishers, Agents, Programmers & Bookers, Labels & Distributors, and Products & Manufacturers. Devolved to AAM, AMPAL, ALMBC, AIR and AMA and administered by Sounds Australia.
- NATSIMO LIFECYCLE Grants: a suite of initiatives with three grant streams for recording, marketing and touring for all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander music creators, including songwriters, composers and musicians. In partnership with NATSIMO.
- Creative Australia Contemporary Music Programs: Music Australia provides a direct uplift to existing Creative Australia programs aimed at contemporary music, including Arts Projects for Individuals and Groups, Arts Projects for Organisations, Contemporary Music Touring Program, and Fellowships.
