FREEDOM is an immersive, multi-disciplinary arts project curated by Lisa Behan for Creatives Inc. The project addresses the heavy realities of domestic violence and coercive control, transforming experiences of trauma into a powerful collective reclamation of feminine liberty. The project is created to highlight women's strength, regional creative practitioners, and the broader community.

About

Creatives Inc. is a not-for-profit organisation incorporated in 2015, initially established to bring music to the streets in a unique, engaging way. From the outset, GC Creative Inc. has focused on advocacy and community development, working to build a strong cultural presence across Southern Queensland. Our vision is to accelerate collaborative partnerships with local organisations, businesses, artists, and communities, enriching people’s lives through the arts, culture, and heritage.

We acknowledge the many Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia and honour their Elders past and present.

We respect their deep enduring connection to their lands, waterways, and surrounding clan groups since time immemorial. We cherish the richness of First Nations peoples’ artistic and cultural expressions. We are privileged to gather on this Country and to share knowledge, culture and art, now and with future generations.
