2027 marks 20 years of social justice theatre projects and championship of marginalised artists and their communities on Kaurna Yerta.
About
ActNow Theatre is an award-winning social justice theatre company based on Kaurna Yerta. Championing historically marginalised communities is at the heart of everything that we do, and our spaces are stomping grounds for First Nations, Global Majority, LGBTQASB+ and Disabled artists and communities.
We acknowledge the many Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia and honour their Elders past and present.
We respect their deep enduring connection to their lands, waterways, and surrounding clan groups since time immemorial. We cherish the richness of First Nations peoples’ artistic and cultural expressions. We are privileged to gather on this Country and to share knowledge, culture and art, now and with future generations.
