Empower diverse communities to make and share art for a fairer, more habitable world.
About
Darwin Community Arts (DCA) is a multi-arts Community Arts and Cultural Development organisation based on Larrakia Country/Darwin, NT. For over 45 years, DCA has built inclusive, accessible and decentralised creative spaces that support grassroots artistic practice, cultural exchange and community connection. Through venues, partnerships and outreach across the NT, DCA empowers diverse communities to make and share art for a fairer, more habitable world.
We acknowledge the many Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia and honour their Elders past and present.
We respect their deep enduring connection to their lands, waterways, and surrounding clan groups since time immemorial. We cherish the richness of First Nations peoples’ artistic and cultural expressions. We are privileged to gather on this Country and to share knowledge, culture and art, now and with future generations.
