Build a Tent for Tent City and help amplify lived experiences of homelessness through inclusive theatre, storytelling and community connection.
About
Tent City is an original Rebus Theatre production exploring homelessness through the voices and lived experiences of those who know it firsthand. Blending performance and storytelling, the work challenges stereotypes, builds empathy and invites audiences to listen without judgement while connecting with the people and stories behind the statistics.
We acknowledge the many Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia and honour their Elders past and present.
We respect their deep enduring connection to their lands, waterways, and surrounding clan groups since time immemorial. We cherish the richness of First Nations peoples’ artistic and cultural expressions. We are privileged to gather on this Country and to share knowledge, culture and art, now and with future generations.
