Help us raise $15,000 to deliver INCUBATOR in 2027—supporting emerging playwrights to write bold new Australian work.
About
Playlab Theatre develops, publishes and produces contemporary Australian plays. We champion playwrights through dramaturgy, process pathways and education, connecting bold new stories with audiences and classrooms nationwide. In 2026, we celebrate 10 years of producing live theatre—supporting the next wave of local storytellers from page to stage.
We acknowledge the many Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia and honour their Elders past and present.
We respect their deep enduring connection to their lands, waterways, and surrounding clan groups since time immemorial. We cherish the richness of First Nations peoples’ artistic and cultural expressions. We are privileged to gather on this Country and to share knowledge, culture and art, now and with future generations.
