Performance Space develops and presents risk-taking and experimental performance rooted in the geopolitics of the Asia Pacific and its diasporas, nurturing and championing new directions in contemporary practice. We are rigorously artist-centred, developing and presenting independent and contemporary performance, live art, experimental choreography, queer practice, experimental sound and sonic practices.
We acknowledge the many Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia and honour their Elders past and present.
We respect their deep enduring connection to their lands, waterways, and surrounding clan groups since time immemorial. We cherish the richness of First Nations peoples’ artistic and cultural expressions.
