Help Flinders Quartet launch the next generation of string quartet musicians and build FQ Sessions into Melbourne's home for string quartets.
About
For 26 years, Flinders Quartet has pushed the string quartet forward in Australia, commissioning new works, mentoring the next generation of musicians and composers, and touring regional and outer-metropolitan communities. The result is chamber music built to reach people regardless of geography, education, income, age or gender.
We acknowledge the many Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia and honour their Elders past and present.
We respect their deep enduring connection to their lands, waterways, and surrounding clan groups since time immemorial. We cherish the richness of First Nations peoples’ artistic and cultural expressions. We are privileged to gather on this Country and to share knowledge, culture and art, now and with future generations.
