Help us put 200 books into young hands, inspiring children to read, imagine, create and begin writing stories of their own.
About
Storyfest is a Queensland-based children’s literacy charity connecting young people with the transformative power of stories. Through writers’ festivals, regional programs and year-round initiatives, Storyfest brings Australian authors, illustrators and storytellers directly to young readers, inspiring a love of reading, nurturing creativity and ensuring stories are accessible to every child.
We acknowledge the many Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia and honour their Elders past and present.
We respect their deep enduring connection to their lands, waterways, and surrounding clan groups since time immemorial. We cherish the richness of First Nations peoples’ artistic and cultural expressions. We are privileged to gather on this Country and to share knowledge, culture and art, now and with future generations.
