Affinity Quartet Unlimited Academy responds to a gap in Australia’s chamber music training, fostering the talent of aspiring string quartets.
About
Founded at the Australian National Academy of Music in 2015, the internationally awarded Affinity Quartet is a growing organisation whose work encompasses national and global concert touring of innovative programs, new commissions, recording, teaching and mentorship to create lasting impact for musicians and audiences.
We acknowledge the many Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia and honour their Elders past and present.
We respect their deep enduring connection to their lands, waterways, and surrounding clan groups since time immemorial. We cherish the richness of First Nations peoples’ artistic and cultural expressions. We are privileged to gather on this Country and to share knowledge, culture and art, now and with future generations.
