Help us transform Backbone Youth Arts' venue space to give emerging artists an upgraded, accessible and low-cost home for their creative practice.
About
Backbone Youth Arts is Queensland’s longest running youth arts organisation cultivating the next generation of artists, creative entrepreneurs, and cultural leaders. Backbone facilitates education, industry connection, and creation of new works through our year-round programming. Our award-winning residency and flagship event Backbone Festival offers strong career pathways for young artists.
We acknowledge the many Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia and honour their Elders past and present.
We respect their deep enduring connection to their lands, waterways, and surrounding clan groups since time immemorial. We cherish the richness of First Nations peoples’ artistic and cultural expressions. We are privileged to gather on this Country and to share knowledge, culture and art, now and with future generations.
