We are fundraising to replace the canopy (ceiling) of the 116-year-old Melba Spiegeltent, the much-loved venue that has been part of Melbourne's arts community for sixteen years.
About
Circus Oz is one of the world's original contemporary circuses and one of Australia's most iconic, irreverent cultural exports born in Melbourne in 1978. Circus Oz makes contemporary circus that entertains, inspires and challenges the widest possible audience with spectacle and intimacy, comedy and jaw-dropping skills. Proudly artist-led. Fiercely independent.
We acknowledge the many Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia and honour their Elders past and present.
We respect their deep enduring connection to their lands, waterways, and surrounding clan groups since time immemorial. We cherish the richness of First Nations peoples’ artistic and cultural expressions. We are privileged to gather on this Country and to share knowledge, culture and art, now and with future generations.
