Celebrating human-led art. Celebrating Australian stories. Celebrating all forms of visual media.
About
Proto-Productions is an upstart production company of fresh-faced students and graduate filmmakers. Through powerful visuals, moving stories, and partnering with media artisans from across the continent, we are working to realise the native potential of the Australian film industry. We have a simple ethos—Fully Collaborative. Fully Human.
We acknowledge the many Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia and honour their Elders past and present.
We respect their deep enduring connection to their lands, waterways, and surrounding clan groups since time immemorial. We cherish the richness of First Nations peoples’ artistic and cultural expressions. We are privileged to gather on this Country and to share knowledge, culture and art, now and with future generations.
