Transforming my signature hand-dyed silk into sculptural forms, exploring how colour, movement and material can bloom beyond the wearable.

About

Gliese 504 re-imagines fabrics and garments by using hand-dyeing. Gliese 504 works with a large variety of dyeing techniques including ice-dye, classic tie-dye, shibori tieing techniques and reverse tie-dye. All dyes are made here locally in Melbourne by us using Procion and RIT dyes.

We acknowledge the many Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia and honour their Elders past and present.

We respect their deep enduring connection to their lands, waterways, and surrounding clan groups since time immemorial. We cherish the richness of First Nations peoples’ artistic and cultural expressions. We are privileged to gather on this Country and to share knowledge, culture and art, now and with future generations.
