Help keep artists employed, visible, and thriving in Canberra. Every dollar powers the future of the arts in the ACT.

About

Based on Ngunnawal Country (Canberra), Australian Dance Party (ADP) is the ACT’s flagship professional contemporary dance company and its largest employer of professional dance artists. Celebrating a decade of bold, socially responsive creation, ADP energises public space, sparks civic dialogue, and drives the regional dance ecosystem. As the primary organisation in the ACT offering viable professional careers in contemporary dance, ADP retains local talent, nurtures emerging national voices, and creates vital return pathways and professional development for established artists.

We acknowledge the many Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia and honour their Elders past and present.

We respect their deep enduring connection to their lands, waterways, and surrounding clan groups since time immemorial. We cherish the richness of First Nations peoples’ artistic and cultural expressions. We are privileged to gather on this Country and to share knowledge, culture and art, now and with future generations.
