Chamber Made Artist and Artform Development Programs support artists to explore, research, extend and deepen their practice
About
Based on Wurundjeri Country in Naarm/Melbourne, Chamber Made creates original performance works that defy categorisation. Our commitment to collaboration, appetite for innovation, and fascination with intersecting artforms drives everything we do. Interrogating the intersections of music, sound and contemporary performance, our works speak directly to a 21st century Australia enriched by the meeting of cultures. Through artworks, mentorships, internships, residencies and advocacy, we create pathways for a diverse cohort of artists and arts workers. Since 1988, we've produced over 50 original works and presented over 100 performance seasons nationally and internationally.
We acknowledge the many Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia and honour their Elders past and present.
We respect their deep enduring connection to their lands, waterways, and surrounding clan groups since time immemorial. We cherish the richness of First Nations peoples’ artistic and cultural expressions. We are privileged to gather on this Country and to share knowledge, culture and art, now and with future generations.
