The Thursday Group (TTG) aims to strengthen Melbourne's physical theatre and theatre-making community by offering extensive and accessible workshops. We need support!
About
The Thursday Group is an ensemble-based theatre company grounded in collaborative devising. We create original theatrical performances and deliver weekly workshops teaching Suzuki training and investigating ensemble devising. Our ensemble builds and creates resilience in the physical theatre community and develops groundbreaking works reflecting urgent stories of our time.
We acknowledge the many Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia and honour their Elders past and present.
We respect their deep enduring connection to their lands, waterways, and surrounding clan groups since time immemorial. We cherish the richness of First Nations peoples’ artistic and cultural expressions. We are privileged to gather on this Country and to share knowledge, culture and art, now and with future generations.
