Public value and cross-portfolio partnerships

Public value and cross-portfolio partnerships benefit Australia’s cultural and creative industries by building capacity and contributing to a vibrant and innovative arts and cultural sector.

Australia’s cultural and creative industries are dynamic and generative – ideas are the currency. These complex, rich and connected human and cultural resources include extraordinary, world-class creative talent, ripe for investment and scalable impact.

Australian creatives are also well placed to leverage content and creative capital for the public good – our inspiration, our wellbeing, our capabilities and our connections.

Delivering on the actions in Revive, A Place for Every Story, A Story for Every Place Creative Australia is tasked to activate partnerships across government, with industries, and with individuals and families, to maximise the benefits that arts and cultural participation offers our communities.

Partnerships are crucial to our shared commitment to the public value and impact of Australian arts and culture. We cannot do this work alone, and we welcome the opportunity to develop strategic partnerships that extend the impact and reach of our programs.

We are open to new partnerships with or without commercial outcomes where artists, arts organisations and audiences are the beneficiaries.

Partner with us

We are interested to hear from you to pilot new partnerships that align with our strategic priorities and advocate for the public value of Australian creativity.

In 2025, we have prioritised three strategic cross-portfolio priority areas as:

  1. Artificial intelligence (AI)
  2. Education
  3. Health and wellbeing

Follow our research publications to identify and respond to other areas of advocacy ripe for partnerships and investment.

We acknowledge the many Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia and honour their Elders past and present.

We respect their deep enduring connection to their lands, waterways and surrounding clan groups since time immemorial. We cherish the richness of First Nations Peoples’ artistic and cultural expressions.

We are privileged to gather on this Country and through this website to share knowledge, culture and art now, and with future generations.

First Nations Peoples should be aware that this website may contain images or names of people who have died.
