Tours to Venice

Tours to the Venice Biennale 2019 offered supporters exclusive access to the exhibition facilitated by expert guides.

Creative Australia hosted the Champions Program for supporters during Vernissage (5 – 10 May) and later from 29 September to 3 October to celebrate Australia’s participation in the Venice Biennale.  

These exclusive tours offered behind-the-scenes access to the Australia Pavilion and the Biennale, guided by leading Australian curators and local experts. Participants enjoyed intimate encounters with the exhibiting artist and curator, explored Venetian Palazzos, and experienced private tours of the Arsenale and Giardini exhibitions.  

The tours provided an unforgettable opportunity to experience Australia’s 2019 exhibition and a curated selection of events across Venice.  

Support for these tours directly contributed to elevating Australian art on a global stage.
