Creative Australia: Induction video

--:-- --:--

We are the Australian Government’s principal arts investment and advisory body. Our overarching purpose is to champion and invest in arts and creativity to benefit all Australians. We aim to do this by working towards the strategic objectives set out in our Corporate Plan.

Diversity and Inclusion are at the heart of how we work to build and maintain a culturally safe and supportive workplace. We are committed to ensuring our staff reflect the diversity of Australia’s people and the artists and organisations we support.

We were named as an Inclusive Employer 2021-2022. This achievement recognises that we are active and committed to inclusion, and that we are above the Australian workforce average in DCA’s Inclusion@Work Index.

The Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012 requires Commonwealth public sector employers that employ 100 or more people to submit a report to the Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA), annually, as a part of the Commonwealth Public Sector Gender Equality Reporting program. The reporting period for this submission was a snapshot of Creative Australia on 31 December 2023. You can read Creative Australia’s Employer Statement below.

We acknowledge the many Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia and honour their Elders past and present.

We respect their deep enduring connection to their lands, waterways and surrounding clan groups since time immemorial. We cherish the richness of First Nations Peoples’ artistic and cultural expressions.

We are privileged to gather on this Country and through this website to share knowledge, culture and art now, and with future generations.

First Nations Peoples should be aware that this website may contain images or names of people who have died.
