The Seasick graphic novel will make a unique contribution to Australia’s cultural life by sharing the voices and stories of people who are often overlooked or misunderstood. Its visual and accessible format will reach a wide audience, including younger readers and those with limited English. Alongside its artistic value, the project aims to encourage greater compassion and understanding of migration and to challenge negative ideas about refugees and asylum seekers.
