Application process

Creative Australia will conduct an open or invited call for proposals to the Delivery Partners program, depending on the nature of services we are seeking to support.

Potential Delivery Partners submit their proposals, including the following:

  • a business plan, which responds to the service delivery statement outlined in the proposal request
  • a budget for the delivery of the services
  • two most recent audited financial statements.

How are Delivery Partner proposals assessed?

Delivery Partner proposals are then reviewed by industry advisors who make recommendations to Creative Australia to consider when making the final investment decisions.

The industry advisors review proposals relevant to their knowledge and experience and against three criteria:

  1. Quality
  2. Viability
  3. Alignment

A full list of industry advisors is published on assessment for multi-year investment after any decisions are made public.

If approved, recipients of Delivery Partner investment enter into a negotiated agreement with Creative Australia. This agreement includes key performance indicators that measure the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery.

Final recommendations on investment decisions are made by officials of Creative Australia. These decisions are based on the responses and advice provided by industry advisors in their reviews of Delivery Partner proposals. Delivery Partner investments are approved by the Australia Council Board of Creative Australia.
