Join Lakun Mara founder Sonya Rankine, an award winning Ngarrindjeri, Narungga, Ngadjuri & Wirangu artist, to participate in a weaving experience throughout the event. Lakun Mara, meaning weaving hands in Ngarrindjeri, focuses on cultural revival and maintenance of traditional Ngarrindieri weaving and cultural practices.

PURRUMPA SUMMIT DINNER

Carclew will also be contributing to the dinner entertainment, with singer-songwriters Katie Aspel and Tilly Tjala Thomas performing, as well as dances by Dusty Feet Mob.

Join some of the incredible young and emerging artists for a facilitated discussion or workshop. Watch on as award winning artists Iteka and Temaana Sanderson-Bromley of Malka Wiri Wiri share a silk painting demonstration whilst they discuss their practice. Artist and curator Carly Tarkari Dodd will share her journey, recent works, and exhibitions. Participate in a Zine making and poetry workshop celebrating culture with Tikari Rigney and Jayda Wilson.
