Alumni peer assessors

Creative Australia’s peer alumni are a growing group of over 1700 peer assessors who have worked with us from 2014 onwards.

Two people standing at a port by the water. They are both wearing large coats, and are sharing one set of headphones, with one ear piece each, with the cord between them. The sun is setting, and the sky is yellow and cloudy.

Our alumni peer assessors continue to offer us valuable insight into the sector and help us to identify future peer assessors. We send our alumni an email newsletter twice a year, the newsletter includes updates about our latest resources, highlights about grant activity and success stories, and anything else we think might be of interest.

At times we ask our alumni to be industry advisors on grants or initiatives. We invite alumni to outreach events when we visit different cities and towns around the country, allowing us to connect in person and introduce past, present, and future peers to each other.

If you are a peer alumnus but not currently on our mailing list, please get in contact assessment@creative.gov.au. Remember to keep contact details up to date in our application management system to continue to receive our email newsletter. Log into the Application Management System

‘Each of the peers bring something unique to the conversation and all are ready to listen and respond respectfully. It’s not accidental that you are selected to be a peer on the panel. You are there because you have been selected for your knowledge and experience, so it is important to share this with the others.’

We acknowledge the many Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia and honour their Elders past and present.

We respect their deep enduring connection to their lands, waterways and surrounding clan groups since time immemorial. We cherish the richness of First Nations Peoples’ artistic and cultural expressions.

We are privileged to gather on this Country and through this website to share knowledge, culture and art now, and with future generations.

First Nations Peoples should be aware that this website may contain images or names of people who have died.
